Commonly asked questions about the iPaymu Transaction Insurance feature
- Risk of physical loss and/or damage to the purchased product.
- Guarantee for undelivered products (from the seller or logistics).
- Seller fraud.
*Not all fraud cases are covered; they must be validated and verified by the Insurance team.
- IDR 2,500 premium for transactions between IDR 10,000 – IDR 1,000,000
- IDR 4,000 premium for transactions between IDR 1,000,001 – IDR 10,000,000
1. Buyers send a claim application email to [email protected] with the following format:
Subject email: iPaymu Insurance Claim
Body/Email Content:
- iPaymu transaction ID.
- Attachment of the e-policy certificate.
- Proof of payment.
- Other supporting documents/evidence (evidence showing that the product was undelivered, lost, or damaged).
2. iPaymu will forward the documents to the insurance provider.
3. The insurance provider will perform Verification and Loss Assessment (21 - 60 working days).
4. Claim payment is made to the Customer within 14 working days after the verification is complete.
Note: Claim payments will be subject to a 5% insurance administration fee of the covered value.
